SATURDAY WINE TASTING AND HOT SPRINGS:
We will leave the Bay Area at 9:00 AM.
Wine tasting in Alexander Valley Wine Country and Lower Lake.
Enjoy Harbin Hot Springs in Middletown this evening (20 min driving from our vacation home).
SUNDAY CANOEING:
Meet 10:00 AM at Burke’s Canoe, at the intersection of Mirabel Road at 8600 River Road, Forestville, CA 95436.
FUN ON THE RUSSIAN RIVER:
Sightseeing & Canoeing downstream through the heart of redwoods. This is a gorgeous 10 mile trip with warm sunny beaches, mountains and redwoods galore.
It is a self-guided canoe trip with return shuttle included. Picnic, swim, and sunbathe at beaches along this magnificent stretch of the river. View wildlife such as: Otters, Great Blue Herons, Ospreys, Turtles, Egrets, and more.
Finish canoe trip by 5:00PM and head back to the Bay Area.
WHAT TO BRING:
May we suggest the following items for your consideration: bring your bathing suits, ice chest, soft drinks, beach towels, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, bunji cords to tie your cooler into the canoe, and river shoes to protect feet against sharp rocks. Garbage bags for trash. Also bring a change of clothes for the ride back home.
TWO DAY TRIP VACATION HOME: Beautiful Vacation Home in Lower Lake.
TWO DAY TRIP COST: $268
This adventure includes 1 night at vacation home, food (1 breakfast, 2 lunches and 1 dinner), your canoe (2 or 3 person per canoe), and transportation.
ONE DAY TRIP COST: $52 Early-bird. $58 Regular Rate
This adventure includes your canoe (3 persons per canoe), life jacket, picnic lunch and return shuttle.
